Training at Belle Cheval is available for both horses and riders in:

With a childhood of growing up training and showing Arabians and National Show Horses, working with 4-H kids with all breeds, managing a multi-breed stable in Wisconsin, and more recently, training at a Morgan facility, Trainer Karen Bessel has the experience to work with hot blooded horses to quiet donkeys.




All training is achieved with the same respect and communication, while treating each horse as an individual. No two horses are ever the same. Reading each horses needs and taking training at their speed is absolutely necessary in order to achieve a confident, reliable partner. Whether you are looking to enter into the show ring, or just enhance your trail experience, your horse will be able to show his / her true potential through soft hands and communication.

Monthly training also includes lessons with your horse so that you are able to work well together when your horse returns home. Belle Cheval is committed to the bonds between horse and rider that can only be forged through trust and confidence. Reiki therapy is available and can be performed on horses in training at any time. When in training, there is no additional charge for Reiki therapy, just additional benefit!
